PLA 3D printed chess sets are made in sunny San Diego, California. These chess pieces have a sleek, sophisticated appearance, putting a modern twist on a traditional game.
PLA Chess uses high quality materials. All pieces are 3D printed with a high quality PLA material and weighted. They have a nice finish, easy to hold. Colors might be slightly different in the photos. We use the best materials but any plastic (especially white pieces) will get a slight color change after some time if exposed to a lot of sunlight, so don't keep the set under direct sunlight.

PLA Chess sets are made in small numbers. There might be some minor differences between the photos and the actual products. Other than the laser engraving for the chessboards and 3D printed pieces, the whole set is handmade by us after you order. Because of this, few sets are alike, and many are unique.
*** Please note that 3D printed items are made by adding very thin layers of plastic, one layer at a time. Slight imperfections / rough edges are expected, but we work hard to avoid them.

All our products are handmade after your order is processed. Products will be shipped within 7-10 business days unless stated differently on the product description. We’ll do our best to ship them as soon as possible! Currently we are offering FREE Shipping to the USA for most of our products. Customers from other countries will see calculated shipping rates during checkout. PLA Concept is not responsible for the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
PLA Concept shall ONLY allow returns for ‘incorrect item shipped’ or ‘damaged items’. PLA Concept will issue a replacement for any item return, provided you inform us within 24 hours after receiving the incorrect item. Return must be made within 7 days of delivery date. Customers are responsible for all the return shipment costs.
Custom order items are non-refundable, non-cancelable and non-returnable.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Please be careful with any liquids or chemicals around the chess set. Don’t leave the products outdoors, exposed to direct sunlight or very hot places. Resin parts (especially white resin) may change color in time. Our chessboards are made of real hardwood veneers and marble stone tiles so take care of them as you would take care of a furniture of same material. Wooden parts might need refinishing over time. Marble chess boards are very heavy so be careful while carrying them around. PLA Concept is not responsible for any damage caused by accidents with our products.
